‘The Flower Shops’ Mother’s Day Competition!

Mums are absolute super heroes and they deserve the world and more. SO…

I’m coming to you with ANOTHER amazing flower giveaway! This time, it’s being brought to you by ‘The Flower Shops’ – a family run business who’ve created a network of some of the finest florists in the UK, to bring customers the highest quality bouquets. They want to give back to their loyal customers, so are giving away a luxury bouquet worth £100 to one deserving mum, and some gorgeous bouquets for the runners up too! How amazing is that?!

The Flower Shops has built up a network of experienced high street florists, and now, with over 200 florists on the team, they are able to guarantee fresh, handcrafted bouquets to any town or village in the UK. Over the years, the company has witnessed small high street florists going out of business as online marketers churn out factory made bouquets, which leaves customers disappointed, and hard working (but not as well known) small businesses, in ruin. The Flower Shop mission is to reverse this, give business to more independent shops, and turn those customer frowns upside down with beautifully handcrafted, same day blooms. There are a wide variety of flowers available, from affordable blooms to high end bouquets: all are delivered within 24 hours of being made up (no need to worry about the blooms drying out in a van overnight!), and are packaged in water bags to help keep them fresh.

I was gifted a bouquet as part of this collaboration, and I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with them! Well, I can…or I’ll do my best to at any rate!

My bouquet arrived safely with a courier in a large, upright cardboard box, and, after I opened this up, my first sight wasn’t of my flowers, but of a fabric cover, which had been placed over the bouquet, just to make doubly sure no harm would come to the blooms during transit. And oh my gosh. They. Are. STUNNING!

A gorgeous full bouquet, arranged beautifully (and in my favourite colour too, which was a lovely surprise)! They’re wrapped in strong cellophane, which means the flowers can sit in a few hundred millilitres of water, then presented in recyclable brown paper. As you can see from the pictures, this all comes in a strong, waterproof box, so there’s no chance of the blooms being damaged between the florist and your front door. They arrived with a lovely little gift card and handwritten message, and, when you place your own order, you also have the option of adding on chocolates, wine, or toys, just to finish it off. I love having fresh flowers in the home, particularly large bouquets – so I can’t begin to tell you what an exciting delivery this was to receive, particularly during lockdown! Browsing on The Flower Shops website is such a treat for the eyes, and makes me want to purchase multiple bouquets to send to my nearest and dearest…and perhaps myself too!

So, now I’ve got your attention and you’ve seen all the gorgeousness, it’s time to tell you how to win a bouquet even bigger and better than this one!
